DATA SCIENTIST

You will be part of the Datalabs team and work closely together with our data scientist and data engineer. Datalabs is a small, ambitious team that develops innovative data-driven solutions for the food and beverage industry. The team operates in a friendly, informal atmosphere.

As a team, Datalabs is responsible for processing and enriching all data collected by Datlinq about the food and beverage industry. The output is production quality data and data driven services that power all Datlinq applications.

As a data scientist you will be building and maintaining machine learning algorithms to add value for our customers. You know how to get value from data and understand when to apply a state of the art machine learning algorithm or when a smart business rule will do.

In this role, you will report to the team lead of the Datalabs team with whom you will work together on your personal development and skill set.

ABOUT DATLINQ

Datlinq is the partner for data-driven sales and marketing in the out-of-home market. We gather and enrich food service locations (restaurants, bars, etc.) for brands like Unilever, Red Bull, Bacardi, Duvel and FrieslandCampina. We help find the most relevant locations resulting in optimal growth with lower cost.

Datlinq provides applications which give our customers insights into the dynamic food service market. The outlet database is the backbone of all of these Datlinq products. This makes data the core of Datlinq instead of a supportive factor.

This year Datlinq became part of the Roamler group. Together we are expanding our location database and services to more than 15 countries. Roamler has a flexible crowd community of 180.000 Roamlers, which performs in-store audits and merchandising activities. The combination of offline and online collected data gives the opportunity to create an even richer view of food locations.
